What's happening in Miami!

This abandoned fabric (Wynwood old rc cola plant) is full of graffiti and things to bang till you feel relief! Right on Wynwood neighbourhood Excellent for filming or photo-shoots. You can just sneak through the open fence and enjoy the riot! I did a Dominatrix photo-shoot with 12 women believing they were wild cats running through Mount Lafayette!

What's happening in Miami!

The Art Walk just passed through and it felt like a hurricane Andrew of people. Every 2nd Saturday of the month this event is held in Wynwood from 6pm-yourlegssaynomore! Myself actually did my first street installation, yes if you ever went through 26th St and 2nd NW ave, you surely went through my lighting cloud. Watch the video and photos of it!

Storygraph

I have a hole that fills my darkness, is a small window but is there. Sometimes, mostly when i wake up the window is closed and i feel trapped like in a solitary cell, the air runs out in every breathing, shrinking the room even more making the walls getting closer and closer until the point i can not move. I stamp my hands over the rugged bricks trying to push them away, my nails are rakes scratching and my nostrils are steaming (did i mention i am claustrophobic?) and everything goes blurry in a blink of an eye and when i thought i could not think, when i thought that was my last breath and i thought i was not going to say another "and" ("and" maybe that was for the best) i see the window. It is miles away, it is still small, but i see it and that was enough at the moment (like enough is a word i commonly use) even though it felt like it was in another room the light heated my skin, a gust came in and went straight to my mouth. I swear (and i never swear, but never say never they say (who are they anyway) and i hear) it was like i had a thousand mints, my Edward-sissorhands became feathers, the bricks were velvety and my eyes only could see that hole that was a whole, a small window that fills my darkness.

What's happening in Miami!

Did you know The Arsht Center gives free tour of its installations every Saturday and Monday at 12pm? It lasts about one hour and no reservation is required, just show up and a guide will take you to this massive architectonic piece explaining the history of the building where entertainment companies like Cirque du Soleil perform. Also walk through all the theaters, from lobbies to stage, including glimpses into private meeting rooms and lounges not open to the public.
The Adrienne Arsht Center is at 1300 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, 33132. For more info, email tours@arshtcenter.org or call 786-468-2326. Check out some of the images i took from the tour!
