The endless road,                                         Frustration is a hope
an infinite point,                                           that can't be undone.
the balance on the horizon,                           Perseverance is a wish
the stable thought,                                       scratching the clouds.
the firm step,                                               Beat by the holy sun
the constant look,                                         i want to go left
without the blinking of an eye,                       but i do right.
the shine hitting                                           The judge is in me
where you can't see,                                     criticising the view,
the white reflects,                                         nothing worst to say
what you can't feel.                                      around so much vacuity.

What's happening in Miami!

This abandoned fabric (Wynwood old rc cola plant) is full of graffiti and things to bang till you feel relief! Right on Wynwood neighbourhood Excellent for filming or photo-shoots. You can just sneak through the open fence and enjoy the riot! I did a Dominatrix photo-shoot with 12 women believing they were wild cats running through Mount Lafayette!

At the threshold they wait. Impatient to cross over, the father sits on the floor with a straight posture, chin up and arms on his lap, looking at nothing but straight to it. He has to hold the character, for the sake of the rest of the members or everything would fall apart (at least that is what he thinks) like the little dirty looks to his wife and the carrying games with his son. They all wait for the show to end. Tired of pretending and entertaining distant minds that they will never meet. She also sits down with her legs crossed over each other, just like her arms, letting her hands to hang in the air, letting gravity doing its thing. Curved back, watching the little one, she stare at him imaging a better world for him, running and jumping off massive gigantic trees, hunting birds or playing with squirrels. But he is against the wall, next to the threshold waiting to open and get out of that hell their living in to get in into another hell they rest spiritless.

DELIRIOS DE UNA MENTE SANA;

"I want to sail my soul in so many ways that it will brake into particles and spread all over hitting people inadvertently making them stop for a millisecond forming an awkward instant in their lives. That instant where you don't know what just happened but didn't stop you for doing what you were doing. And probably i did already (more probably to myself because it happened) and you didn't notice...dahhh ( or for people that say "obviously")
The un-dahh or the opposition to the obvious is generated by those little moment in life where we can't acknowledge what is happeing, and we adjudge it now to the particles of a soul broke into pieces sailing away (after all we are all matter)"

On the road we seek, even though we don't know what are we looking for, we know is there, we feel it and we go for it.
On the road we find our way, by necessity like water in a crevice.
There we share, we fight, we meet ourselfs, we don't let go the stubborness because is in our skin, but we know that isn't always good, you have to let go, so you welcome the new.
Without that road we feel lost, we need guidence, we'd like to see it without watching it. Sometimes, in those brilliant days we closed our eyes and we do see it like we would have made a Monet from scratch, but it wasn't a Monet, it had something different, something unique. Yes, something like us.

What is happening in Miami?

Do you ever wonder why Miami has so many buildings with rich colors, bold geometric shapes and lavish ornamentation? Well Art Deco resume that and add many more concepts to what a city has as features. Art Deco Weekend was the celebration of all those features with food trucks, Ocean Dr made pedestrian with "of the period" cars. If you missed this one imagine being there with this images and do not miss the next one, it totally worth it!

What's happening in Miami!

The Perez Art Museum of Miami offers free entrance certain days like the second Saturday of the month with family activities from 1-4pm. Also the first Thursday of every month where you can rave at a proper Auditorium with Dj Hans! from 6-9pm. And for those that have Bank of America, bring your debit or credit card every first weekend of every month and you get in for free too! But for the ones that always wonder when observing a piece of art: "what was he/she/it thinking when made it?!" This Jan 9th ask that to Rachel Gay and remember to clap so she can clap back! And if you don't even like museum just stroll around...it's pretty scenic, if you don't believe me watch at the photos.

I have a hole that fills my darkness, is a small window but is there. Sometimes, mostly when i wake up the window is closed and i feel trapped like in a solitary cell, the air runs out in every breathing, shrinking the room even more making the walls getting closer and closer until the point i can not move. I stamp my hands over the rugged bricks trying to push them away, my nails are rakes scratching and my nostrils are steaming (did i mention i am claustrophobic?) and everything goes blurry in a blink of an eye and when i thought i could not think, when i thought that was my last breath and i thought i was not going to say another "and" ("and" maybe that was for the best) i see the window. It is miles away, it is still small, but i see it and that was enough at the moment (like enough is a word i commonly use) even though it felt like it was in another room the light heated my skin, a gust came in and went straight to my mouth. I swear (and i never swear, but never say never they say (who are they anyway) and i hear) it was like i had a thousand mints, my Edward-sissorhands became feathers, the bricks were velvety and my eyes only could see that hole that was a whole, a small window that fills my darkness.

Happy New Year 2016!!!

Resolutions made, balance weighted, objectives written down: Time to race the time! Aim for new thinking if you couldn't achieve what you wanted last year or keep those thoughts that made you get the proper track. For sure this year will have its ups and downs and that is ok, just bear in mind that is not the "what" but the "how" that makes the change!
This photograph was made at ISO 800 95mm Canon lens (70-200mm zoom lens) f2.8 and 1/6sec. I used a sturdy Manfrotto Tripod and a cable release to avoid shaking. To edit this photograph i used first Lightroom for color and light correction and then photoshop to get it sharper and enhance the beam of lights behind the buildings. To see how to take proper firework photographs see this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mj8POiF3XfA
